INSURANCE

It is important to remember that insurance is a financial agreement between you and your chosen provider. Insurance dictates what treatment can be given and the quality of services. Often, this requires the clinician to spend hours justifying their clinical decisions to insurance representatives who are not clinical professionals. To maintain a high standard of client care, we have had to limit the insurance coverage we accept.

We are currently in the process of credentialing with insurance companies. Keep checking in for updates!

Out of Network

If we do not accept your insurance, this means that we are an Out-of-Network provider (OON). An OON does not bill your insurance company directly. Instead, you are given a receipt called a superbill to submit to your insurance company for them to reimburse you. If your insurance company has out-of-network coverage, they may cover a portion of your bill.

Out of Network Services may seem scary, but that is just because it's new! The process is more simple than it seems. Here is the process:

  1. You contact us for an intake session. We check your Out of Network benefits and provide you with a quote.

  2. You pay us directly at the time of each session.

  3. You will receive a superbill on the first of the month or after your testing session.

  4. You submit the superbill to your insurance company, which will reimburse you a percentage of the bill or apply the bill to your deductibleThere is a portal for this! We have partnered with Reimbursify to help our clients save money on services! You can click here and fill out a reimbursement form for faster reimbursement!

We are happy to walk you through your first reimbursement submission to ensure it's as seamless as possible!

**Masquigon Integrative Behavioral Health does not guarantee that you will receive reimbursement

Private Pay

What are the benefits of privately paying?

  1. No unnecessary labeling for the sake of insurance standards

  2. Increased confidentiality & privacy since insurance companies won't be able to request records such as session notes

  3. The clinician is free to use the approach that best meets your goals instead of your insurance company (clinician or not) dictating your needs

  4. Your clinician will be able to better attend to your unique needs

Private pay options are available for those whose insurance is not accepted.
